So many amazing kids have attended Tri Velo Series Camps. It is always fun to see where they go as they grow. Some even go on to become professional cyclists. If you are alumni, drop a note of what yo are doing now so we can share it!

Eric hails from Boulder, Colorado where he attended the University of Colorado before delving into his career as a rider, team owner and cycling coach. He is currently racing with the new WTB x Pivot Endurance Off Road Team. He also part-times as the team's mechanic if that duty calls. As 2021 Cyclocross US National Champion and 2021 & 2022 Pan-America Cyclocross champion, Eric is bringing his experience and determination to the Lifetime Grand Prix circuit in 2023. One of the favorite stories from TVS, is the one about Kaya's first cyclocross camp in 2013. She got there and just started crying, wanting to go home. We gave her a business card with Deirdre's phone number on one side and a photo of Hank the Dog on the other side. The photo of Hank was to give her comfort and the phone number was so she knew she had a direct line to the Director if she wanted to go home. She took the card, and off she went. From that moment on, Kaya has just kept showing off her fierce, tenacious nature on the bike. Kaya was a CX National Champion in 2016, 2017 and 2022. She is currently on the Bear National Development Team.
Austin Podhajsky came to camp as a triathlete and is still a triathlete, only now he is an elite triathlete racing around the globe. Austin always had a smile and alot of energy - energy that he put to good use. After a stellar career as a collegiate athlete at Queens University of Charlotte, Austin has started A-Pod Endurance Coaching, got engaged and has kept moving. As a youth, Austin did triathlons, as well as cyclocross and other sports. He was a wonderful camper and junior coach.
Boulder native Jared Scott did some of Colorado's largest bike tours with his parents starting with the Courage Classic (3 days over 3 mountain passes) and Ride The Rockies (6 days, 500+ miles over the Colorado Rocky Mountains). Initially a triathlete, Jared quickly gravitated towards just cycling. He started road racing at age 11 and hasn't stopped since. Jared has recently made the move from a US based U23 Team (Aevolo) to the European team - Bardiani-CSF. He is a big move and one Jared feels ready to tackle. He has been part of TVS and the camps as a camper, jr. coach and is on deck to jump in as a coach when he racing schedule allows it.
All across the world you will hear: "Go Little One" as Lauren Zoerner races past them. This endearing moniker came from her father, Aaron Zoerner. Her older sister Ashley - also an alumni and well known cyclist - was known as "Baby Girl." Both sisters have been National CX Champions and raced for the USA in World Championships. Lauren has been part of the the Alpha Bicycle - Groove Subaru Team since she started racing in 2010 - moving from the club development team to the Elite Team. Lauren has been part of the camps since she started and has moved from being a camper to being a coach. She is just a girl that likes to race her bike and we love having her as part of our crew!
